On-device editing
- Photos, projects, and exports stay on your Mac unless you export or upload them yourself.
- Default projects live in
~/Studio Projects. - No advertising SDKs or cross-app tracking.
Grok Imagine (optional)
- If you use Grok Imagine, your xAI API key is stored in the macOS Keychain on this Mac only.
- Prompts you enter are sent to xAI (
api.x.ai) to generate images. TickTock does not receive your API key.
Licensing & trial
- Trial start date and preferences are stored locally (UserDefaults).
- If you purchase through the App Store, Apple processes payment — we do not receive card details.
Website
- ai.ticktock.space may keep standard web logs (IP, user agent, time) temporarily for security.
- Download clicks may be recorded anonymously for operations.
